Welcome to JCM Carpet Cleaning. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (jcmcarpetcleaning.com) and the deep cleaning, carpet, upholstery, and outdoor furniture cleaning services provided by JCM Carpet Cleaning (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By booking an appointment or utilizing our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Scope of Services

JCM Carpet Cleaning provides professional deep cleaning services for residential and commercial properties across Long Island and the Hamptons. We are a fully licensed and insured business. While we strive to achieve the best possible results, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, or discolorations, as some may be permanently set in the fibers or surfaces.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • Initial Estimates: Any price quoted via phone, email, or our website is an estimate based on the information provided by the Customer (e.g., room count, square footage, visible condition).

  • Final Pricing: Final pricing will be determined upon physical inspection of the property by our technicians before work begins. Factors that may alter the price include exact room measurements, excessive soiling, biological hazards (e.g., pet urine), or requested add-on services.

  • Minimum Charge: All service calls are subject to a minimum service fee of $[Insert Amount], regardless of the size of the job.

3. Payment Terms

  • Due at Completion: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service unless you are a commercial client with a pre-approved invoicing agreement.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Valuables and Breakables: Remove all small furniture, breakable items, electronics, and valuables from the areas being cleaned. JCM Carpet Cleaning is not responsible for moving heavy furniture (e.g., beds, large dressers, entertainment centers) and will clean around such items unless previously agreed upon.

  • Pets and Children: For their safety, keep children and pets away from the cleaning area and our equipment/hoses during the service and until the surfaces are completely dry.

  • Pre-existing Damage: Please notify our technicians of any pre-existing damage to carpets, upholstery, or outdoor furniture (e.g., loose seams, sun damage, torn fabric) before work begins.

6. Limitations of Liability

While JCM Carpet Cleaning operates with the utmost care and professionalism, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing Conditions: Wear and tear, fading, sun damage, or fiber deterioration that becomes more visible once dirt is extracted.

  • Wicking: Stains that reappear during the drying process due to “wicking” (spills that penetrated the backing or carpet pad and rise to the surface as it dries).

  • Shrinkage or Discoloration: We test fabrics and fibers when possible, but we are not liable for unavoidable shrinkage or color bleeding inherent to certain delicate materials or previously applied DIY chemical treatments.

  • Trip Hazards: We are not liable for any injuries resulting from slips, trips, or falls on wet floors or over our hoses during the cleaning process.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with the results of your cleaning, please contact us within [e.g., 48 hours] of the service. We will return to re-clean the specific area of concern at no additional charge. This guarantee does not apply to stains or odors deemed permanent by our technicians at the time of the initial cleaning. We do not offer cash refunds.

8. Right to Refuse Service

JCM Carpet Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if our technicians feel the environment is unsafe, unsanitary, presents a health hazard (e.g., severe mold, extensive biological waste, structural hazards), or if there is abusive behavior toward our staff.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of JCM Carpet Cleaning or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. 10. Governing Law
